Kid Who Sued School For Kicking Him Off The Basketball Team For Refusing Chickenpox Vaccination Gets Chickenpox

NBC NEWS – A northern Kentucky teenager banned from school for refusing the chickenpox vaccination due to his religious beliefs has come down with the childhood malady, his attorney said Wednesday.

Jerome Kunkel, a student at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Assumption Academy, first started showing chickenpox symptoms last week and hopes to have recovered by next week, a lawyer for the 18-year-old told NBC News.

Hold on, I got a meme for this.

If only someone had developed a vaccine for this kind of thing that prevents 95% of people from getting the disease and 100% (one hundred percent) of people from getting the severe form of the disease.  I don’t know what we pay the World Health Organization for but they clearly aren’t organized enough to suggest that the population get these vaccines for their very young children to protect them from getting a completely preventable disease.  Just shows how far we have to go to become the big smart superpower we think we are.

Jerome may have a disease that we’ve already basically cured, but at the end of the day, it’s only chickenpox – if 6 year olds can handle it, so can he.  He’d make a much biggest splash if he got polio or measles.

Get polio or measles pussy.  You won’t.

Jerome, your anti-vaccination message is bringing together an unheard mix of Orthodox Jews, uneducated fringe conspiracists, and Kambucha-douching private school moms.

Jerome: That’s the real America.
